I killed the penultimate bottle of Gin Xoriquer and the last bottle of Gin Mahon I had I gave to a friend who really likes gin. He thinks Menorquin gin is fantastic. It's Spain's best kept secret.

Mike I now live in England and know people who goes to Mahon all the time. If you would like a new bottle let me know. BTW. I have posted a picture of a mahon bottle too. Great minds think alike. :-)

I also still have a gin bottle, but mine is brown in color. After many moves, my label hasn't survived very well. either.

Hey Steve Conn! Isn't that your car? I had a Kawaski KZ750 motocycle that I brought with me. The gas tank was so small that I couldn't fit all of the gas that the ration cards called for. I got the difference back in cash, which was more than I paid for the coupon. I made money riding my bike! What a wonderful place! I put 4,000 miles on my bike while at Menorca, AND I had a car, too!

Ah, yes, the "other" salute. That stone on the top of the mounatin is a geographic marker not far from the old abandoned prison near the very top. I miss Menorca so much. I'm going back in '09.

Ah, yes, Ferreries, the quiet little village at the bottom of the mountain. Does anybody remember "Ferreries Maria"??

That area today is COMPLETELY covered with buildings, villas and roads.
