The Wine Bottle used to have a plastic carrier that it sat in, which did not survive all the moving around.

1973-1975: The Airman in the photo and I went in halves on this wonderful automobile. I can't remember exactly, but I think we bought it from either one of the Spanish cooks or one of the Spanish guards. Because we worked opposite shifts, there was never a conflict of who gets the car for the day or night, or the weekend. Nevertheless, we put many a kilometer on it, and always used up our petro allotment on our ration cards.

1973-1975: The other side of this wonderful little, green spray-painted auto reveals a very close encounter with one of those rock walls. I swear it just jumped out into the middle of the road one night coming back from Mahon. But fortunately, no one got hurt! Anyway, it sure beat a donkey and cart for transportation.
